The club wanted to select someone that has given a great deal of time and energy to the club over many years by offering them this figurehead role. In this case a former junior manager for 10 seasons, club secretary and our first ever club safeguarding officer until around 2015.

We are delighted to announce that Tony Phillips has accepted the role as President for 2025/26 after doing so much great work for the club over many years. Tony also played a little for the second and third teams, our Over 40's side and his son Rob featured strongly in our junior teams.

One of the many juniors that were coached by Tony include our first team captain, Callum Evans who reflected that "Tony was my first coach as a 9 year old when I first started playing cricket. He's a wonderful ambassador for the club and I couldn't think of a better person to lead us as President"
